The UNITESS LTE/NR BS base station simulator (hereinafter – simulator) is designed to simulate signals of mobile networks LTE (LTE-M, NB-IoT) and NR (5G) in order to test subscriber devices of cellular communication systems 4G/5G and can be used to create hardware and software complexes
Simulator operating principle
The simulator is a radio module with eight SMA connectors for connecting microwave cables or antennas.
The base station simulator has support for MIMO and all FDD and TDD frequency bands for operation in the frequency range up to 6 GHz.
The simulator is a universal vector analyzer and a generator.
The base station simulator is capable of analyzing and generating LTE (LTE-M, NB-IoT) and NR (5G) signals for testing subscriber terminals of cellular communication systems 4G/5G.
The simulator allows to carry out registration and display of all levels of stacks 3GPP LTE and NR and also useful schedules and analytical tools.
The simulator has an extensive API WebSocket that allows you to send remote commands to eNodeB, gNodeB, EPC, and 5GC to simplify test automation.
The technical characteristics of the used microwave modules have high stability.
In the case of calibration of the parameters of the generator and analyzing parts, the simulator is capable of performing the functions not only of auxiliary equipment, but also of measuring means.
